Meet fellow tech entrepreneurs at Startup Drinks

When you’re new in town, net­work­ing events become a life­line — for job con­tacts, busi­ness oppor­tu­ni­ties, and just mak­ing friends.

If you’re a high-tech entre­pre­neur in Canada, there’s a net­work­ing group just for you: Startup Drinks.

This group hosts free month­ly mee­tups for entre­pre­neurs across Canada. In most cities, they meet on the last Wednesday of the month. Lots of events are hap­pen­ing tonight!

Here’s today’s schedule:

Toronto: 6pm at the Elephant and Castle, 212 King Street West

Ottawa: 6:30pm at Patty Boland’s, 101 Clarence Street

Montreal: 5:30pm at Brutopia, 1219 Rue Crescent

Halifax: 6pm at Loose Cannon, 1566 Argyle Street

Fredericton: 5pm at Garrison District Ale House, 426 Queen Street

St. John: 5pm at Big Tide Brewing Company, 30 Princess Street

Moncton: 5pm at Vie Tapas & Lounge, 196 Robinson Court

In a cou­ple of oth­er cities, the Startup Drinks events are sched­uled for next Tuesday, April 6:

Waterloo: 6pm at Mcmullan’s on King, 56 King Street North

Vancouver: Details TBA
