Toronto Meetups for British and American Expats

Meetup.com logoTwo events are com­ing up this week for expats liv­ing in Toronto.

On Saturday, October 27, the Toronto Expat Brit Meetup Group has a gath­er­ing at the Pilot Bar in Yorkville. The fun starts at 8pm.

On Thursday, November 1, the Toronto Expat American Meetup Group hosts their reg­u­lar monthly pub night at No One Writes to the Colonel (and yes, that’s the name of the bar).

If you’ve never attended a meetup event for expats, they’re great for meet­ing up with oth­ers who are new to the city or who have sim­i­lar back­grounds. And you can com­pare notes on all those funny Canadian expres­sions that you didn’t learn until you arrived…
