Thank you for your comment. If you'd like us to provide a referral to an immigration consultant who might be able to advise you and your family, please complete the free referral form. In general, however, before you can enter Canada, you need to have a job offer, an opportunity to attend school, or the means to invest in the country.

Hello,

A really beautiful area is Niagara on the Lake, which is a nice little town close to Niagara Falls. There are even wineries close by and a really relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it than Toronto.

I even met some American expats there and they seemed really happy. Even the houses are really nice there too. Its really peaceful and by a gorgeous lake.

Here is a realty site with some properties there.

Hi,
I currently reside in Toronto for the past few years, I studied at HUMBER business school. I think job market in Toronto is not very good. Its just a welcome house for new comers.Toronto is filled with people who likes to do labor jobs. However Toronto is really good to live, expensive pubs and rapid growth of population, competition, Crimes occur at only certain places example. Jane and finch. Perhaps Toronto has mixture of city life and rural lifestyles. The government changes rules very often and is now stringent in giving permanent residents. Lots of waiting lists. At Humber school for international students the fee is 6000$ a semester and if an international student fails in just ONE SUBJECT he needs to pay a fee of 1200$, which is really bad. Car insurance is expensive. Government increases bus fare often.
Thus I would say Toronto is a lovely place to hangout, safe but in long term settlement this is not the right option. Please give your suggestions on good place to settle in Canada no matter the temperature but factors like house affordability and highest income/hourly pay. Thanks.

Its only as bad as you make it. Trying to have only one career path is a huge mistake. The days of working for one company forever and retiring are long over and will never return. Its up to you to have the skills that are marketable at any given time. People are looking for people to do things for them. Get really good at a few and you are set for life.
