Dónde Vivir en Quebec

Quebec buidlings, Old City, Quebec City, Canada
Una visión general de Quebec City Barrios

Quebec City está situado junto al St. Lorenzo, sobre 250 kilometros (155 millas) northeast of Montreal. The city is segmented into six districts, o arrondissements.

The central area, La Cité-Limoilou, no sólo es el eje turístico, it’s also where you’ll find most government buildings.

El corazón de La Cité-Limoilou es la Ciudad Vieja amurallada, que se divide en la Ciudad Alta (Ciudad Alta), alto de la colina, y la ciudad baja (Lower Town), frente al río. Fuera de los muros, hacia el oeste, el St. Jean-Baptiste neighborhood is an established urban community, y al este, within walking distance of the Lower Town, is the newly gentrified St. Roch barrio.

The remaining city districts, incluyendo Sainte-Foy-Sillery-Cap-Rouge, Ríos, La Haute-Saint-Charles, Charlesbourg, y Beauport, cluster around La Cité-Limoilou like a horseshoe.

Across the river but connected to Quebec City by transbordador is the separate municipality of Levis.

To the northeast of the city is ÃŽle d'Orleans, a bucolic island that is not only a popular weekend getaway but a residential alternative for those seeking a more rural life.
