09_five_hole_mediumIf you’re in Calgary this week, this show, presented by One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre, may offer a, um, unique look at Canada’s national pastime.

It’s called Five Hole: Tales of Hockey Erotica:

Rock n’ roll, theatre, hockey and sex! Together at last for a four-way power play, two of Canada’s longest-standing creative forces–Calgary’s One Yellow Rabbit and legendary Toronto rock band Rheostatics hook up to create and perform a series of incisive erotic hockey stories for the stage. Written by Rheostatic and author Dave Bidini, Five Hole weaves together a suite of electrifying, tender and hilarious love stories through the lens of our national pastime.

One Calgary show only: February 16 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts.

And if you’re not in Calgary, you may be able to score a ticket at one of the upcoming Ontario performances:
